The Key to Internet Marketing

Internet Marketing seems a very complicated and hard to grasp matter. It seems that those who “make it” online are nothing short to genius. However, very often they are college drop-outs, some haven’t even finished high school. Then how do they do it? What do they know that you don’t know?

Maybe there is something – the key to Internet Marketing. After you work hard and gather knowledge through the years, gain experience and when it all comes natural to you, you begin to think about where was the turning point and if it’s possible to teach that to the newcomers.

I think the key to Internet Marketing is understanding that there are real people on the other end and you have to convince them to buy. Far too many people think that all they have to do is drive traffic to their site. No. Traffic is one thing, conversions is another. And before you understand your audience, how they use the Internet, what they look for, what answers they want, what problems they have. That right there is key.

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard a story of someone getting an idea from discussions on forums, implementing it and selling to the fellow members. That’s all it takes to start the ball rolling.
