What kind of Internet marketing tools do you need every day? There are many things that need tools. Let’s see what a life-cycle of a IM project consists of.
First we need a product and/or a website to promote. The product can be our own or affiliate, as well as we may have our own website or post an article somewhere. But for the sake of complexity let’s assume we build our own website. To do that we need a CMS, such as Wordpress which makes setting up sites really easy.
Then we need the content, we can have writers write a bunch of articles, we can write it ourselves or depending on what we do even rewrite PLR content.
Once we have a website, we need to promote it. There are many ways to do it, but let’s assume we use the ever popular SEO. We start with keyword research. There are many tools for that, but we can be well of with Google’s own free keyword tool.
Once we have the keywords, we optimize our website for them. That simply involves making sure we have the keywords mentioned in strategic places, such as titles and anchor text of links. Finally, we go out to get backlinks – backlink building services and tools help a great deal here.
And on top of it all we have tracking and testing tools that help us improve our website and ads for better conversions.
Of course, this is just a small bit of what an Internet marketing project can involve. There can be mailing list, videos, PPC, and so on. And there’s a tools for everything.
